The Economist’s Advertising

I really do enjoy the print adverts for The Economist. Some of them are really clever. I remember one of our lecturers once mentioned that The Economist uses ‘slightly clever’ advertising so that people have a sense of accomplishment when they have worked out and understood the advert – it makes the reader feel clever. Interesting. X
