Ages ago, Rowan and I went to Tulbagh with my family. The one afternoon we decided to go horseriding. There is a lady that takes you on an out-ride through her family’s vineyards as the sun is setting. The view on her farm is stunning, you also ride through their orchards and can pick fruit as you go. My horse was a bit naughty, he wanted to eat ALL the fruit, so I was always a good 500 metres behind the rest of the group.

Rowan and I have wanted to go horseriding for so long, we got quotes to ride on Noordhoek beach and it was a bit too expensive. To go horseriding in Tulbagh is like half the price – small towns definitely have their benefits. It was a lovely adventure, can’t wait to go again.
