Blisters for Bread

blisters for breadOn Sunday we took part in Blisters for Bread and walked 15km from Green Point Stadium to almost Camps Bay and back. It was a beautiful day on Sunday, absolutely perfect for the walk. You pay R42 to enter, and that money is used by the Peninsula School Feeding Association to feed 21 children. Their motto is “you can’t teach a hungry child”.

Blisters for Bread takes place in August every year – next year I’ll remind you when entries open so that you can enter and also feed 21 children. You can walk 5km, 10km or 15km, and the route is beautiful.
