Reverie Social Table opened a couple of months ago in Observatory, and if you haven’t already tried it, you’re missing out! They do an amazing five course dinner and wine pairing (which my parents went to and LOVED). We went for a light lunch which was incredibly delicious. The food on offer everyday is different, depending on the fresh ingredients chef Julia can get her hands on. At around R50 for a beautiful plate of food – so worth it! (Their coffee is incredible too!)\

After spending a bit too much time on Pinterest on Sunday morning while I was putting off getting out of bed, I managed to find some home inspiration. This is what I want my flat to look like (it’ll just have to double in size in the next few weeks ha!).
I’m dreaming about these beautiful, white, spacious homes with plants everywhere!
How amazing are these pictures? They make me want to redo my entire flat (ah, maybe that’s what I’ll do this weekend!)
A little while ago I bought a Wikideal for a chocolate and wine pairing at Lanzerac. The only time I’d ever been to Lanzerac before was for a wedding, so I was pretty exciting to go back and do a little tasting.
The chocolate is made specifically for each wine, and they really do compliment each other nicely. I preferred the white wines, which was not a surprise for me. Their sauvignon blanc is delish!
Definitely recommend going for the pairing, the whole thing takes about 45 minutes, and after that you can go explore Lanzerac and their gardens.
YUM! Had such a lovely time at The Creamery in Dean Street a few weeks ago. Decided to go for a very unhealthy Sunday brunch with the girls, best decision ever.
Made it my mission to go and try their Carrot Cake & Cream Cheese Icing flavours which were absolutely amazing and totally worth it. I tried their waffles for the first time and since then I’ve had to restrain myself from going back EVERY WEEKEND.
If you haven’t been to The Creamery before, you’re seriously missing out.
Ben and I had an amazing time in Bali, which I know I still have not blogged about. There are so many amazing experiences, moments and little adventures that happened on our 2 week trip, I just want to go back. We scootered around islands, swam in the beautiful crystal clear ocean, drank all the Bintang, went to a water park, spent so much time on the beach, went to temples, ate like locals, explored the little towns, went on a trip to Ubud, saw the rice fields, tried clove cigarettes. There is just too much to put into words right now, but I’ll get there.
