Its OnSaleBru!

Ok, so we all know about Groupon and those kinda websites, but I want to tell you about OnSaleBru. Yeah bru, it’s on sale!

onsalebru

OnSaleBru is a new blog that writes about promotions, deals, offers and other price reduced items to ensure that you don’t miss you!

What I quite like about OnSaleBru is that they have zero attachments – they don’t work with the shops, they’re just letting everyone know about these awesome deals!

Their website is pretty cool, wish I’d known about it before I moved out. They have lots of household items, like this Samsung microwave for R999.

You can also search the deals by shop/brand. So here I found all of the deals from @home. winning!

You can also search by category if you’re looking for something specific – which makes life a lot easier.

In terms of clothes (which is what I was most interested in) they seem to have mostly Spree deals on their site – I do think this could be a little more extensive.

Their cellular section is also a tiny bit disappointing, only 2 pages of deals, and not many of them are actually phones. But, since this website has only been going for about two months, they still have time to get bigger and better.

This is definitely a website I’ll be keeping my eye on.

Check out OnSaleBru to see the latest savings and deals!

I have already posted some photos from the girls weekend in Greyton, these are some others. The weather was just perfect when we were there, and we saw some beautiful sunsets. Can’t wait to go back.

Girls Weekend in Greyton

On the weekend we all escaped from the city and had a lovely getaway in Greyton. The reason for this getaway was Kez’s birthday – which is on Thursday. We arrived in the dark after work on Friday, but had a delicious dinner and some girl talk. After a good night’s sleep, we woke up on Saturday morning and ventured off into town for the market.

Greyton is a beautiful little town, and very lively too. The market was really busy, but I have to admit, we were the ten girls who were DEFINITELY not from here. We tried some goat’s cheese, bought some homemade lemon cordial, tried some veggie samoosas and bought early mother’s day presents. After the market we explored the rest of the town (more like the main road). We found a charity thrift store and did some shopping. We finally found the chocolate factory that we’d been hearing so much about (post about that coming soon), and we found a place to have dinner, Abbey Rose.

We walked back to the house to get some lunch – delicious wraps with roasted  butternut, yum! After lunch; Tarryn, Em and I started making the slutty brownies (more on that later). We then decided to talk a walk down to the river, we saw horses and just generally enjoyed the country life. After the walk we came back to the house, got ready, and went for dinner at Abbey Rose.

Sunday morning we woke up to another beautiful day in Greyton. The weather had been so nice the whole weekend – I’d packed as if it was going to snow! Was sad to leave Greyton and come back to reality, was a lovely weekend away.

Crossroads

If you’re looking for a sign, one of these must be it.

These are photos that I took on the roadtrip Rowan and I did up the East Coast. We went from Cape Town, Mossel Bay, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Jeffrey’s Bay to Addo Elephant Park and back. It was quite a trip and we were on the road for a week, camping and staying in backpackers. It was one of the best holidays I’ve been on, can’t wait to roadtrip again!
